Chapter 2 The Devil Who reverses all beings

Evander hung up the phone before he could say anything.

Hector was stunned. The colonel didn't even have a female companion. What kind of marriage was he asking for?

But the order still had to be carried out. After all, Evander's nickname as the cold-faced King was not for nothing. Anyone who defied his order would be running into the muzzle of a gun.

…………

After a tiring day, a long stretch of breathing came from the doctor's dormitory, but Olivia tossed and turned.

Her phone vibrated suddenly, and she crouched down and quietly walked towards the toilet, after all, it was not allowed for non-military personnel to use their phones.

She opened her phone and took a look. It was a wechat message from her close friend Chloe: Sterling has safely returned home. Come back quickly.

She clutched her excited chest, and a relieved smile appeared at the corner of her lips. He had returned safely, so their wedding would be held as promised, and as long as she had become the young lady of House of De Rossi, it would be natural for her to take Delilah away.

Thinking of her sister Delilah's illness, she couldn't help but feel a little downcast.

When Delilah was only five years old, she was frightened by seeing her mother fall from a building. Now sixteen years old, she is like a madman and often goes crazy.

She only hopes to give Delilah a comfortable life in her lifetime, so that she will no longer be bullied by anyone.

Early the next morning Olivia packed up her clothes, left a note and quietly left the dormitory. She needed to get back to Rome before the wedding, without a moment's delay.

The head of the medical team heard about her situation and immediately arranged a military vehicle for her, which would arrive half an hour later.

She stood anxiously at the crossroads, carrying her suitcase.

Squeak! A sound of brakes came, and a soldier in camouflage, with oil paint on his face, got out of the vehicle.

With a straight, cool gaze, he gave her a beautiful military salute, nimbly took her suitcase and put it in the back seat, and did not forget to open the car door for her.

"Thank you for your hard work.

He just nodded slightly and said nothing.

She got into the car, quietly took out her phone and sent Sterling a wechat message: Please take care of Delilah for me. I'll get back to the wedding as soon as possible.

But the message couldn't be sent. She checked the phone signal and found that there was no signal at all, probably because it was a thick forest area and the signal was not good. She didn't pay much attention to it and put it away.

She looked up and realized that this was not the way to the airport at all.

She looked warily at the driver, dressed in camouflage and leather boots, with a gun at his waist and deep marks on his arms, though without an epaulet. It was obvious that he was a soldier and not of low rank, but had deliberately torn off the epaulet.

She quickly calmed down, slowly took out the scalpel from her bag and held it in her hand.

Just as the military vehicle made a sharp turn and braked, she took advantage of her body's inertia to rush forward and hold the scalpel against his throat.

"Obey me obediently and turn the car around."

There was a flash of astonishment in his eyes, then relief, only a hint of a playful smile curling up at the corners of his lips.

Olivia's voice was cold: "Although this scalpel is small, it is very sharp. I have used it to gouge out hearts, cut blood vessels, and remove bones, and it can easily cut the main artery of your neck. I'm a doctor, and it's no more than a cloud in my hand to save or kill."

The scalpel slid coldly across his neck and landed on the main artery of his neck. With a light stroke, blood trickled through his bronze skin.

He seemed to feel no pain at all, turned his head and gave her a gentle smile that was alluring and enchanting.

The smell of blood spread in the sealed space of the car, she frowned slightly, the knife in her hand went a little deeper, blood flowed out, and he still smiled upside down, seemingly unable to feel any pain.

She felt a tingling sensation in her scalp. This kind of person who has no concept of pain is either a vegetative person or a devil who frequently visits the door of death. It is obvious that she has bad luck today and has encountered a devil.

Between the lightning stones and the flames, the scalpel fell to the ground, and she was pinned down by the man, their eyes met, he was as dangerous as a leopard, and she met him stubbornly.

"Oh! The woman I picked is so good! '

It's Evander. Is he crazy?

She sneered: "Is that how Colonel Evander repaid me for saving your subordinate's life?"

His lips brushed against her earlobes, and her body felt like an electric shock, tingling and almost falling into the depth of his eyes, but in an instant she was stunned by what he said next.

"So I decided to give myself to him."

He said it so seriously that warm blood from his neck dripped onto her face, burning hot.

In an instant, her thoughts flipped rapidly. Evander was a smart person. It was because such people were well-versed in the rules of survival that they could rise rapidly. They often only dealt with those who were beneficial to them.

Though she was the eldest daughter of the House of Bernadotte, she was not favored, nor could she help him in terms of influence or power. Or rather, she was a burden to him, and if it was a life-saving favor, it was not his turn to repay.

After a moment's thought, she concluded that either he was insane or he wanted to use her status as House of De Rossi's fiancee to hold House of De Rossi hostage for his own benefit.

It was a psychological battle, and she tried to pacify the devil, attempting to bring him back to his senses.

She tore off her clothes and covered the wound on his neck, trying to be as gentle as possible: "Colonel Evander, listen to me. I'm just a pawn for House of Bernadotte to win over House of De Rossi, and House of Bernadotte has more than one pawn, so you can't threaten House of De Rossi by using me."

"But there's only one Olivia."

She was stunned: 'What?'

He gently wiped the blood drop off her face with the pad of his finger: "Olivia, I want you as a person."

"Colonel Shaw, you might be mistaken. Even if Sterling liked me, he would accept the family arrangement for the benefit of the House of De Rossi, so I'm still a piece of waste to you."

"Ha! When did Evander take House of De Rossi seriously?"

Not before, and certainly not now!

Olivia couldn't figure out the man in front of her. She narrowed her eyes slightly: "What on earth do you want?"

He touched her soft chest ambiguously: "Your body, your heart."

She stared at him blankly, and now was certain that either she had misheard or Evander had gone crazy, or she was going to go crazy.

She had no connection with Evander before, and if he fell in love with him at first sight, that would be a ghost. Such people always put reason first.

He grinned and got up to pull the tape with one hand.

What does this devil want to do? Not to mention that this is a forested area, and if it were to kill a woman first and then kill her, and dump her body in the wilderness, it would be impossible to verify, not to mention that this is his territory.

She must not die here, or how could Delilah survive?

"Evander, though our House of Bernadotte is not as powerful as yours, we are a prominent family in Rome!" she warned sharply.

He lifted his eyelids slightly, pulled out his belt and gave a seductive smile.
