Neil POV
".....and she ran away." I finished. Nate stared at me, anger and hate showing on his face.
"You f*cking bastard!" He yelled as he launched at me. Thankfully I had my Beta, Sam, there to hold him back. "You’re f*cking messing with my sister! I'll kill you!" He yelled and I flinched. My wolf growled in my head for being so disrespected at but I held him down, knowing that I deserved this.
"I'm sorry. I don't know why I do it." I said as I ran a hand through my hair. Nate stopped fighting and stood still. He was huge, a bit bigger than me, so his body towered over my sitting figure. His raven black hair reminded me so much of Calista but his glaring hazel eyes reminded of the situation.
"Where did she go?" He asked as he shut his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"I don't know." I sighed. He opened his eyes and glared at me.
"We'll search in the morning and you better hope that she's ok." He growled at me once before storming out of my office, followed by Sam. I wanted to run after him and rip him to shreds for commanding me but I held back.
I screwed up big time. I miss her so much. Her smile. Her laugh. Her face. I shook my head and stood up. My head felt light and I couldn’t get this feeling away; this feeling of emptiness. It was like how I felt when I hadn’t met my wolf; cold, boring and painful.
I ran home, well to my house. It wasn’t a home unless Calista is there with me. I jumped on the bed and sniffed her scent that was slowly fading. I curled into a ball and closed my eyes, hoping that she was ok.
I woke up and groaned. That was the worst sleep that I’ve ever had, I thought. I got up and had a quick shower before I went downstairs. I opened the pantry and stared at the food, not being able to find the right appetite to eat anything.
Every morning, Calista and I would eat together. I frowned at the thought of her and settled for just a glass of orange juice. Once I was finished, I washed my glass and walked to the pack house.
Once I got there, I entered the lounge to see my trackers, Nate and Sam waiting for me. They all bowed and then Nate nodded at me. I stood in front of them and spoke.
"Calista ran away yesterday and today we go in search for her." They all stared at me with concern and worry for their Luna.
"I believe she went to the airport. But that's on Alpha Riverss territory." Nate spoke up. I looked at, hope in my eyes but then nodded my head.
"Yes, but I don't think that she would have, the chance of getting caught." They all nodded but Nate stared at me.
"You all will search the town and I will go to Alpha Riverss territory and ask him." I glared at him but then sighed. Fine, he can waste his time there, I’m sure my Calista won't be there.
"Ok, Nate will go to Rivers’s territory and we all will split up and search our territory. If anyone finds her, then mind link me and keep her there." They all nodded and we were off.
We searched everywhere today, but no one found her. Either she was long gone or she is a really good hider. Our only hope was Nate.
We all sat in the lounge, waiting for Nate to return. It was now 5pm and we had separated at 11am. I sighed loudly when the door burst open. Nate walked in with an emotionless expression.
"So?" I asked, a little hopeful.
"They said that they hadn't seen her but they would keep an eye out." I nodded slowly as my heart dies a bit.
"I don't care. Find her, at all costs."
