Unexpectedly, Kevin gave him a sharp look and managed to make Alan shut his mouth unwillingly.
After that, Amelia and Alan took their seats, and soon the waiter began to serve.
While the three of them were enjoying their meal, Alan immediately clung to Amelia's arms and pouted, drawing a sharp look from Kevin.
After dinner, Alan pursed his lips and slipped from Amelia's arms to the ground, "fairy, Dad and I have to go first. I'll come to see you again tomorrow! And, fairy, you're really pretty today!"
Amelia hugged her hands, empty in her arms, feeling strangely lost. "Well, see you next time."
As she finished speaking, she subconsciously looked at Kevin.
Kevin nodded to her, then bent down and picked up Alan, the man walking straight without looking back.
Alan lay on his shoulder, his chubby little hand waving at Amelia with reluctance.
After seeing them off, Amelia was somewhat lost in thought, as if their departure had taken away her most important thing.
But she couldn't figure out what it was.
Perhaps it was the affection she hadn't felt for a long time? She hasn't enjoyed the warmth of a family since she left House of Coleman. Seeing the father and son today, she must have been bewitched.
After a long while, she shook her head and prepared to go back to where she lived.
After the father and son got into the car, it started slowly.
"Dad, you're not a gentleman at all." Alan pouted, "You're a man with a car, you should send the fairy home!" Kevin looked straight ahead and ignored him.
Alan was furious. "Dad, why don't we go back?" It's dangerous for fairy to go home alone." Kevin still didn't speak.
Alan pouted for a long time before he began rummaging through Kevin's pocket and touching his hand: "Dad, I'll borrow your phone to make a call to the fairy."
"Don't bargain with me anymore." Kevin, holding his phone in one hand, spoke solemnly.
Alan nodded listlessly, looking longingly at the blurry figure behind the car.
After reaching the Lu House, Kevin handed Alan over to the nanny and was ready to drive away himself.
"Dad, it's so late. Where are you going?"Alan asked curiously.
"Go and take her home."Kevin said without reservation, then drove away.
Damn it! Dad left him alone to give to the pretty aunt. He must have wanted to be alone with her! The old man's scheming is terrifying! Alan was so angry that he stomped his feet on the spot.
Amelia didn't take a taxi. She had a lot on her mind recently and wanted to walk alone, so she walked home aimlessly.
She called home, but it was a one-bedroom apartment she had rented.
She had been kicked out of House of Coleman as early as five years ago, and the word "home" was already unfamiliar to her.
Suddenly, Kevin's car pulled up beside her, and the window rolled down slowly.
"Get in the car." Kevin spoke coldly in the car.
Amelia was taken aback. How could he be here? Did he come especially to take her home?
Perhaps noticing Amelia's confusion, Kevin said indifferently, "I'm going to the company later, so I'll drop you off on the way home." On the way? He doesn't even know where her house is, yet he says it's on his way.
Amelia knew that Kevin had sent her home on purpose and was making an excuse for fear that she would be embarrassed.
Amelia no longer declined and got into the car. Her heart felt a bit warm. This man wasn't as cold as she had imagined.
The car soon pulled up to Amelia's building.
Amelia spoke first: "Sir, thank you for sending me home. I will pay you back for the clothes as soon as possible."
"How do you want to return it?" Kevin looked at Amelia with deep eyes.
